Dr. Anuradha (Anu) Rao is a cybersecurity and cyber safety awareness speaker, trainer, and educator. She is on a mission to keep more individuals, families, and organisations safer and secure online. Her work combines cybersecurity and the social sciences, with a focus on cybercrime and online harms prevention, cyber hygiene, and cyber wellbeing. Dr. Anu has a PhD in Communications and New Media from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and is Associate Faculty at the Public Safety and Security Programme of the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS). As a Global DEI Advisory Council member for ISC2, the world’s leading member association for cybersecurity professionals, she champions a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive cybersecurity profession, focusing on women in cyber.
