Brendan Chia is currently Head, Regional Public Affairs and Policy at Grab. His focus is on topics at the intersection of public policy and technology, such as AI ethics, data protection, transport, gig economy and competition, that help advance Grab’s economic and social impact. His background includes roles that span the private, public and multilateral sectors, including as a management consultant with the Boston Consulting Group, in urban infrastructure advisory with the World Bank and on economic development initiatives with the Singapore government.
