Stephen (Max) Gillies is a seasoned technical leader with over two decades of experience. His career began in the early days of the Internet industry in Australia, and has since held senior IT positions in ISP, publishing, and finance sectors. Currently, he manages a team of technical sales engineers across Australia and Singapore for Fastly. Stephen is at home evangelising the benefits of the solutions such as super-fast low latency CDN, DDoS and WAF protection, Observability and edge computing. Known for his expertise in helping his customers deploy secure, manageable, and globally scalable solutions, Stephen is helping the best of the web take advantage of Fastly’s innovative edge cloud platform that is delivering amazing experiences to customers.
